Biography
Howard Kaye follows his superb debut single ‘Origin’ with enthralling new track ‘Too Young,’ featuring Sam Carter of Architects, which is out now via AWAL. Howard will also be curating an exclusive gig at House Of Vans in London on April 17th.

‘Too Young,’ is a genre-defying track featuring two artists that both hail from Brighton, but come from two different worlds, musically. The metal core style of Carter combined with the R&B flair of Kaye forms a sound that is entirely unique. ‘Too Young’ begins with Howard’s soothing vocal which is supported by a spacey, atmospheric production that gradually builds into an explosive chorus, heightened by Sam’s compelling vocal.

On ‘Too Young’, Howard says “’Too Young’ for me sums up the feeling of living in the present without worrying what the future holds. The lyric “Singing songs that we’re too young to remember” is something we are all guilty of!”

As lead vocalist of huge metalcore band Architects, Sam Carter has received praise from the likes of The Independent, Noisey, NME, Kerrang and, Dork Magazine. Architects are set to perform at various stages and festivals across the world performing in USA, Canada, UK, Europe and Australia this summer.

‘Too Young’ comes after Howard’s debut release ‘Origin’ which is a track that he holds a deep connection to as it’s an incredibly raw and touching tribute, and the first song he had written since his father passed away. The official video premiered with Clash Magazine, they said “It's an impressive, nuanced, moving piece of songwriting, one in which Howard Kaye lays it on the line.”

Citing influences ranging from Frank Ocean, The Weeknd and Stevie Wonder – Howard Kaye joined his first band at the age of 16-years-old. Although he claimed to have been “terrible” at the beginning, he knew that being a musician was all he wanted to do and continued to work on his craft. As lead vocalist of UK Collective CROOX, they received accolades from major publications including Telegraph, The Times, The Line of Best Fit, GQ Magazine, Clash Magazine, Complex, Earmilk and Q Magazine, along with support from Radio 1Xtra. They also supported Jeremy Loops, Kate Boy, Astronomyy, Saul Williams, and performed at Secret Garden Party and The Great Escape.  Howard is also known for his impressive skills behind the decks and is currently the only resident DJ of House of Vans UK.

Howard Kaye will be performing at House Of Vans, London in Waterloo on April 17th.  Kaye is also set to perform at The Alternative Escape, Brighton in May.

An exciting talent unfolding, Howard is fully embracing his musical identity as a solo musician. More new music to come and live dates are to be announced imminently.
