Jetta – Fool (impacts 14th December on Lion’s Roar)
Liverpudlian singer songwriter Jetta shares her new single ‘Fool’. The single is the third drop from her upcoming four track EP, due to be released independently on her own label, Lion’s Roar Records later this year.  Led by her trademark soul vocal that commands both vulnerability and sincerity, ‘Fool’ is a blend of electro-funk and synth driven pop. Today, Liverpudlian singer songwriter Jetta shares her new single ‘Fool’. The single is the third drop from her upcoming four track EP, due to be released independently on her own label, Lion’s Roar Records later this year.

Led by her trademark soul vocal that commands both vulnerability and sincerity, ‘Fool’ is a blend of electro-funk and synth driven pop. The raw emotionality of her lyrics along with a glittering new soundscape serves to further define herself against the backdrop of an increasingly vibrant UK electronic scene.

Speaking on the track, Jetta says, “I’ve always been inspired by the Indie movement - I’m from Liverpool so you can imagine all the guitar bands I grew up listening to. I started with a massively distorted guitar sound and then just layered/experimented until I was happy - in this case it turned into an electro-funk Motown mashup. The theme of the song was basically ‘I thought I could fix you’… I didn’t wanna feel it too much though, that’s why the production became more uplifting, even though the sentiment is the opposite.

Written and produced entirely by Jetta, the D.I.Y Liverpudlian is already building a serious cult following with over 200 million YouTube views and 100 Million plays on Spotify alone to her name, capping a milestone year by receiving an RIAA Gold Disc for her track ‘I’d Love To Change The World’.
