Milo Clare – Get Enough (released 14th Sept on Pussyfoot Records)
Pussyfoot Records is back after the labels 15-year hiatus with a brand-new E.P featuring both old and new Pussyfoot artists. 'The Shape Of Cats To Come' mixes genre, age and artistry, showcasing the label’s diverse and varied roster of artists from all over the world.  Label newcomer Milo Clare puts forwards his debut single ‘Get Enough’ a soft, lilting, downtempo R&B track with dreamy vocals, a lazy drum beat, swelling synths and bedroom eyes guitar. Think D’Angelo ‘Brown Sugar’ meets early Frank Ocean in a lo-fi, soulful exploration of falling in love. Milo spent most of his childhood surrounded by music, due to growing up in and amongst his adoptive father, DJ and producer Howie B’s record collection and studio sessions. This – and his obsession with 90’s hip-hop - lead to Milo experimenting with making his own sounds, cutting and pasting samples on an MPC to create his own beats and melodies.

Milo's sound draws from many of his influences, the sultry melodies of D'Angelo, lyricality of Erykah Badu but with added downtempo groove and electronic influences of disco. After years of producing and collaborating on other artists tracks, working behind the scenes and not singing a note; Milo has decided to step into the foreground.
