BRY – DISARM (impacts 4th August on Barpb)
The standout album track “Disarm” is featured on Bry’s eponymous debut album, and this new single edit compacts all of its punch into a sharp 3:30 running time. The video features the actress Evanna Lynch (“Luna Lovegood” in the Harry Potter series). Bry’s story begins in down at heel Dublin pubs and clubs where he performed in a succession of bands before taking a notion to travel to every single country in the world. Setting up a YouTube channel to let family and friends know how he was getting on, one late night abroad he uploaded a video of himself playing one of his own songs - and everything changed. Hundreds of thousands of new subscribers soon tuned in to hear his music. In late 2014, a word-of-mouth recommendation from a friend led Jonny Quinn, Snow Patrol drummer and co-founder of Polar Patrol Publishing, to check out the singer-songwriter’s YouTube channel. In early 2015, Bry duly joined Belle and Sebastian, Johnny McDaid and more as the newest addition to the Polar Patrol stable.  In late 2016, Bry toured Europe with Twenty-One Pilots, and then headlined his own shows in Europe and the UK. In November of this year, he embarks on another headline Europe and UK tour including The Garage, London on 21st November.

The new single edit of “Disarm” is being released on June 9. The standout album track “Disarm” is featured on Bry’s eponymous debut album, and this new single edit compacts all of its punch into a sharp 3:30 running time. A video for “Disarm” also comes out on June 9, featuring the actress Evanna Lynch (“Luna Lovegood” in the Harry Potter series).
Bry’s story begins in down at heel Dublin pubs and clubs where he performed in a succession of bands before taking a notion to travel to every single country in the world. Setting up a YouTube channel (BriBryontour) to let family and friends know how he was getting on in his travels, one late night abroad he uploaded a video of himself playing one of his own songs - and everything changed.

Hundreds, then thousands, then hundreds of thousands of new subscribers tuned in to hear his music. Forging a very real connection with his followers through personalised videos, Question and Answer web chats, and specially curated online sessions, his confidence grew and his repertoire expanded.

Operating without a manager, booking agent, or record label for 3 years, Bry booked trips overseas, tweeting his intention to be in a certain city at a set time, and then waiting with his guitar in tow to see who might show up. This approach drew 80 people to Central Park in New York and 120 more to Tallinn, Estonia, among others - tangible evidence of a loyal, committed community that was building. This encouraged the singer to book tours of more conventional venues, leading to sell-out tours in Australia, Ireland and the UK in 2013/2014.

In late 2014, a word-of-mouth recommendation from a friend led Jonny Quinn, Snow Patrol drummer and co-founder of Polar Patrol Publishing, to check out the singer-songwriter’s YouTube channel. In early 2015, Bry duly joined Belle and Sebastian, Johnny McDaid and more as the newest addition to the Polar Patrol stable, with 13 Artists signing up to represent the singer for live bookings and Mondo Management at the helm.

In late 2016, Bry toured Europe with Twenty-One Pilots, and then continued on to headline his own shows in Europe and the UK throughout December, February, April, and May, selling out many venues along the way. In November of this year, he embarks on another headline Europe and UK tour.
