Calum Scott – Dancing On My Own (focus date 22nd July on Virgin EMI)
It’s been 1 year since the nation fell in love with Calum Scott on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ series 9 with his rendition of Robyn’s ‘Dancing On My Own’. Since then, the audition video has amassed an impressive 56 million views - the most viewed non-official music video in the UK on YouTube last year! He may not have won the competition, but he certainly won the nation’s heart and has since continued to build a substantial fan base through social media. After his own official music video for Dancing On My Own was viewed over 18 million times, Calum made the song available to stream and purchase to huge success. Since release in March DOMO has amassed over 35,000 global sales and has topped the itunes singer-song writer charts (21/04), as well as hitting number 8 in the main itunes charts (19/04). Now, without any paid marketing support, DOMO has been catapulted into the top 40 UK singles charts. Away from TV, Calum is continuing his journey and taking the next steps into what will undoubtedly be a successful career as a singer & songwriter. He’s been busy in the studio working towards his debut EP, which is likely to see a release in 2016.  In the meantime, he has been supporting the hugely successful Boyce Avenue on their UK tour.
